J.Cole is putting on a music festival in his hometown Raleigh, North Carolina. The Dreamville Festival, announced earlier by J.Cole on Twitter will be held on September 15 at Dorothea Dix Park. Dreamville Records in partnership with ScoreMore Shows have been working on this festival for a while now. Ibrahim Hamad aka “Ib“, the president of Dreamville Records states “We’ve been trying to put this festival together for a few years now. It’s just hard to come into a city and get the whole city to approve it and get behind you.” Expect a mix of Dreamville artists such as J.I.D, Cozz, Bas, Lute and of course J.Cole himself with other outside artists as well. Early bird tickets are on sale now at dreamvillefest.com(sign up for the pre-sale), or general tickets are on sale on Monday. The man has been busy! Are you headed to the fest?
